Evonne Fraga

Evonne has survived the unimaginable, the loss of a child due to cancer and the loss of her husband of almost twenty years.  Her faith and the love of family continue to guide her on a daily basis. There are no such things as coincidences, especially when a son is born 12 weeks premature on the very day his older brother passed away of brain cancer seven years previous.  Evonne knows that God showed Himself in that experience, giving her assurance that He is with her through the daily challenges of raising Santiago, the son born prematurely with special needs.  Evonne’s story inspires on so many levels and gives tremendous hope that the most unimaginable tragedies can be overcome and replaced with deep joy and love.
